Argos on hunt for more than 100 staff in Stafford

Retailer Argos is looking to recruit 104 staff to join its customer management team in Stafford as it gears up for the busy Black Friday and Christmas periods.

The company is expanding its customer management team in Acton Gate, Stafford, ahead of the busy Black Friday and Christmas periods.

Argos is running an open day on Saturday, September 7 at the Acton Gate office for potential candidates who will be offered temporary roles.

Chris Stroud, director of customer management centres at Argos, said: “Our new recruits will be pivotal in ensuring that our service in the build up to Black Friday and Christmas is as helpful and efficient as it is throughout the rest of the year.

“Providing great customer service is at the heart of what we do at Argos and that’s why we’re looking for 104 helpful and enthusiastic people to join our Acton Gate team to deliver our fantastic service at the most exciting and busiest time of the year.

“The work is fast-paced, varied and rewarding with the potential to learn a whole set of new skills.”
