Construction consultancy wins contract to deliver Ocado and M&S warehouse

West Midlands construction consultancy Feasibility has been appointed by Real Estate company SEGRO to help deliver a major customer fulfilment centre (CFC) for Ocado Retail, the new joint venture between Ocado Group and M&S.

The 304,355 sq ft state-of-the-art warehouse will be located at a 19-acre site at SEGRO Logistics Park Purfleet, serving customers across the East of Greater London.

Feasibility, based at The Waterfront in Brierley Hill, is providing project manager, employer’s agent and quantity surveyor services for the CFC.

Feasibility director Daniel Holford said: “We’re delighted to be confirmed as Project Managers for the delivery of this Ocado and M&S Customer Fulfilment Centre, as well as to be providing our EA and QS services on behalf of SEGRO. As well as being high-quality and sustainable, the warehouse will boast cutting edge of technology, including thousands of robots using 4G to move around on a grid system packing orders.”

He added: “As a Midlands business, it’s great to see our expertise being call upon for major schemes both locally and across the country, leading to growth of the company and further opportunities to build our client portfolio.”
