Shropshire health care firm sold

Shropshire-based AJ Case Management has been bought by Active Care Group, which is owned by the Montreux Health Care Fund.

AJ Case Management provides case management and community rehabilitation services to clients with a range of complex needs, in the West Midlands and throughout the UK.

Oliver Harris, chief executive, Montreux Capital Management (UK), said: “AJ Case Management will complement the existing portfolio and add key staff which will have an impact across the whole business.

“Active Care Group’s case management division is the largest in the sector, allowing the complex and residential divisions to offer the right care package to our case management clients.”

Thursfields director Gareth Burge and solicitor Joe Rollins led the corporate team with employment advice provided by senior associate Jade Linton.

Jan Tulloch, director and shareholder of AJ Case Management Ltd, said: “Gareth and Joe supported us with the sale of our business. The service they provided was extremely efficient and allowed the sale to go through quickly and smoothly.

Pippa Hawkes, a director at BSN Associates, provided corporate finance advice to AJ Case Management Ltd. Active Care Group were advised by law firm Gowling WLG and national audit, tax, advisory and risk firm Crowe.

Gareth Burge said: “The deal sees the existing management of AJ Case Management retained and the business will be integrated into Active Care Group’s activities both locally and nationally.”
