Traffic Alert: Delays on A38 Staffordshire following HGV collision
The A38 in Staffordshire is closed northbound between both A5121 junctions near Branston, Burton-upon-Trent, due to emergency roadworks.
At around 08:40 this morning a HGV struck the central reservation. Due to the extent of the damage a full closure is required northbound.
Road users are advised to follow the “Yellow Hollow Triangle” diversion symbol via the A5121 through Burton-upon-Trent.
Traffic queuing for around two miles on approach to the Branston junction.
