New construction partner for law firm

Heidi Brennan has joined Lodders as construction partner in its Real Estate practice.

The former director of construction services at Birmingham firm Emms Gilmore Liberson, where she led the firm’s Construction and Engineering Division, Brennan brings more than 14 years’ experience advising clients on all major forms of construction, engineering and demolition contracts.

Prior to Emms Gilmore Liberson, Brennan was with Shoosmiths in Birmingham for 12 years, in the construction and engineering team.

Head of the team, Mark Miller, said: “Heidi’s appointment is a significant step in the team’s ambitious plans for continued growth, especially in Birmingham, where she is very well known and has a strong reputation for her knowledge and tenacity, and where the firm already operates at a high level and has worked with Heidi for mutual clients. She will be focused on advising commercial, industrial and residential developers, property investors and owner occupiers, and her impressive pedigree and client base will be invaluable.
