£1.5m swoop for healthtech start-up

Warwickshire-based C7 Health has acquired TAC Healthcare Group in a £1.5m deal.

The acquisition is being funded from a combination of existing resources, share issue and private investors.

Established in 2018 by Phil Webb, Henley-in-Arden based C7 Health is a clinical services led healthtech start-up that helps significantly reduce waiting times and costs for essential diagnostic scans through its healthcare software platform.

TAC Healthcare Group, based in Aberdeen, was set up in 2013 by Ken Park, a consultant general surgeon, and works alongside local trusts, hospitals, clinical commissioning groups and health boards in providing services to end users to help to reduce end user waiting times and associated costs.

CEO of C7 Health Phil Webb, said: “I’m really looking forward to the future working with Ken and his team to expand and diversify the diagnostic and clinical services that the group provide to the NHS and private patients.”
