A former church in Worcestershire that used to house rare bells is now home to a growing container business.

The former Victorian church of St Mary, on Chapel Lane in Wythall, has been converted to offices and renamed Carillon House, after the carillon bells that were once housed in the church tower.

It is now the home of Budget Shipping Containers, which has moved from previous offices in Ullenhall.

Chris Osborne, managing director and founder of Budget Shipping Containers, said: “As a smaller operation we have always looked for high quality office spaces as this has a huge knock on effect to our teams general happiness, performance and retention.”

Ben Truslove of agent John Truslove, said: “It has been a pleasure working with Chris and Budget Shipping Containers over the years, helping the firm find the right premises as it has grown. The South Birmingham office market is very competitive but it is still possible to secure a good deal for both tenants and landlords, with the right advice.

“I am sure this company will continue to thrive in its new home.”
