People: Expansion for business recovery specialist; Property consultancy makes partner hire; and more

Business recovery specialist Begbies Traynor has expanded in Staffordshire after moving to new premises and making fresh appointments to its growing team.

Following the acquisition of insolvency practitioners Dunion and Co. in March this year, the business has recently moved to Lymedale Business Park, Newcastle, to take advantage of better transport links and client parking.

In addition, the firm has welcomed the return of Michaela Daly, insolvency practitioner, and has taken on experienced insolvency administrator and business development coordinator, Nicola Harrop.

The firm provides a comprehensive range of corporate recovery services to companies across Staffordshire, South Cheshire, Shropshire and into the East Midlands and has enjoyed a significant increase in referrals in recent months, with plans to further increase headcount during 2020.

Diane Dunion, partner at Begbies Traynor in Stoke, said: “Michaela and Nicola will both be a significant asset to the business, which has enjoyed significant growth in recent months.  We are excited to have moved into Lymedale Business Centre and look forward to a busy year ahead.

“These are challenging times for companies across many sectors in Staffordshire and beyond but help is out there for firms in difficulties. Whether they’re experiencing a cashflow problem or dealing with a bad debt, the key is to seek advice. The sooner a business can get help with its challenges, the greater the number of options available to help get things back on track.”
