Manufacturer set to plate up enhanced profits

Pottery manufacturer Churchill China has said that it expects its full-year results to be “ahead of current market estimates”.

The Stoke-on-Trent firm says it has made “solid progress” against it targets in the second half the financial year with “good” levels of trading it both UK and export markets.

Sales at the company were up 17% to £31.9m, with pre-tax profits up 30% to £4.3m in the six months to June.

Churchill China will announce its preliminary results for the year to 31 December 2019 on 26 March 2020.
