Record year for commercial finance firm

Birmingham-based independent commercial finance provider, Independent Growth Finance (IGF), says it has seen record growth in the Midands over the last 12 months.

The firm reports that it has delivered over £25m of funding to support SMEs in the region.

December proved to be a particularly fruitful month, said the firm, with three new deals secured across various sectors including, milk production, repair and maintenance for social housing and rubber-extruded products for the water industry.

The asset-based lender has seen an increased demand for its products across the UK, with 26% growth on prior year and the pipeline looks strong for Q1 2020.

Paul Edmeades, Midlands ABL director of IGF, said: “The last 12 months was really encouraging for IGF across both the West and East Midlands, supporting a number of SMEs, as well as the regional advisory market. Our creative approach to funding, coupled with our commitment to deliver in line with expectations, has resulted in significant traction with the business community and we look forward to another good year.”
