Innovative new fitness challenge will raise money for LoveBrum
City Champs is a brand new corporate fitness challenge which will take place at the Bodypower Expo at the National Exhibition Centre Birmingham on Friday 15th May 2020.
The one-day competition offers an opportunity for local businesses to connect in a fun environment while raising money for local charities, with all proceeds going to LoveBrum. Packages start at £300 per team and include entry to the expo, exclusive training events and inclusion in City Champs marketing materials.
Team-building days are hard to get right, but employers now realise the value of building a healthy team. It makes sense then, to encourage mental and physical well-being through work-based activities. City Champs is the perfect motivator, with a specific date to work towards and team accountability keeping spirits high. Teams of 4 will compete in a series of short events aimed to cater for moderate to advanced levels of fitness, with prior training recommended.
This high-energy event is shaking up the traditional work environment. Think of it as a corporate golf day for the millennial workforce! Where stuffy networking events can leave employees feeling drained, City Champs gets people working together and building lasting relationships with other Birmingham businesses.
There will be prizes for the winning team and also for the team that raises the most amount of money for LoveBrum in the run up to the event. Entrants will also get access to the Bodypower Expo where they can meet some of the world’s leading fitness brands, athletes and influencers.
Entrants are invited to the launch event at Blaze Studio on Wednesday 19th February. There will be additional training events announced in the lead up to the competition to keep everyone on track.
With local businesses such as HSBC, Blaze, TheBusinessDesk.com, Class Creative and Eastside Co. already signed up or expressing an interest, places are likely to be snapped up quickly. Teams are encouraged to sign up soon to avoid disappointment.
The City Champs launch event will take place on Wednesday 19th February at Blaze Studio, Cornwall Street at 6pm. The main competition will take place on Friday 15th May at BodyPower Expo 2020 at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC).
