Private equity backed skincare specialist swoops for medical group

Birmingham healthcare group sk:n is pushing ahead with its national expansion strategy with the acquisition of Adonia Medical Group.

The Adonia Medical Group includes Courthouse Clinics, a chain of 11 clinics across the UK offering a range of anti-ageing aesthetic and wellbeing treatments including laser hair removal, anti-aging injections, skin rejuvenation and weight-loss products.

The transaction will enable the s:kn Group to increase its national footprint, extending its reach into new clinic locations as well as providing greater diversity through its enhanced portfolio of complementary services.

Clearwater International advised the shareholders of Adonia Medical Group with a team comprising managing partner Phil Burns, director Helen Lowe, associate director Will Arnold and associate Robert Herscovici.
