Multi-million pound refurbishment completed at One Colmore Row

One Colmore Row

A multimillion pound refurbishment of One Colmore Row, the landmark office building in central Birmingham, has been completed.

The work has created a new glazed entrance lobby and enlarged reception space, with “touchdown” workspace, grab-and-go coffee offer and informal meeting areas. New showers, changing facilities and secure bicycle storage have been added in the basement.

The vacant sixth floor office has also undergone an extensive refurbishment.

Catella APAM, the asset manager for the landmark building, has appointed property consultancies Knight Frank and Cushman & Wakefield as joint agents at One Colmore Row.

Will Higgins of Knight Frank said: “One Colmore Row is one of the most prominent office addresses in Birmingham’s Colmore Business District and this investment brings the building bang up to date. Only the sixth floor remains vacant and the stylish fitout there makes it an ideal choice for occupiers looking for modern accommodation at the very heart of the city.”

Alex Hardwick, senior asset manager at APAM, added: “One Colmore Row provides high-quality workspace in a fabulous location, overlooking Snow Hill Square, and our investment demonstrates APAM’s ongoing commitment to Birmingham.”
