Founder of loans company steps down

Paul Kalinauckas

The chief executive of BCRS Business Loans has retired after 17 years.

Paul Kalinauckas set up the Wolverhampton-based loans company in 2002. Today it employs 19 people on the city’s Science Park.

A statement from the firm said: “We wish to thank Paul for his loyal service, contribution to the business and his leadership over many years. We wish him a long and happy retirement. Anyone who knows Paul will recognise his passion for his community and supporting the businesses within it. This does mean he shall continue some public appointments external to BCRS as part of his plan for a phased retirement and we envisage him remaining a friend of BCRS.

“A keen runner in his (limited until now) spare time we expect Paul’s energy and enthusiasm to be missed but he leaves us in a strong position. We will continue to grow the BCRS business and to continue our outstanding customer service for businesses needing loans.

“Our successful team have been readied for this change over recent years and we look forward to continuing to support our clients old and new.”
