Law firm enters Birmingham market

Law firm David T Wade has opened a branch in Birmingham as it begins a planned national roll-out.

The Scunthorpe-based company currently operates across Lincolnshire and Yorkshire, but says it is handling an increasing amount of client work elsewhere in the UK.

“Birmingham is the ideal market focus for us to start providing our low cost, professional legal services to other UK markets. Birmingham has a vibrant entrepreneurial business community that is a good fit with our existing client base,” said David Wade, director.

“We help people and small businesses who are looking for an alternative low-cost approach to dealing with their legal affairs. The cuts to legal aid and the high price of private legal representation along with the continuing closure of law clinics have left many to face things alone. We want to help.”

The new office, at the Birmingham Business Park, Solihull, is being run by David Hughes, head of branch, who said: “I’m pleased and incredibly excited to be working with David on this launch into the Birmingham market, which we expect to have a big appetite for our private and corporate legal services.”
