Bet365 rules out redundancies over summer months

Stoke-on-Trent online gambling giant Bet365 has promised its staff there will be no job losses over coming months after unveiling a multimillion-pound pledge to workers.

Bet365 employs 4,389 staff, who have all been guaranteed their jobs will be safe until at least the end of August as the coronavirus pandemic begins to bite, according to StokeonTrentLive.

A spokesperson for Bet365 said: “In times of uncertainty is was essential that we reassured our people of the commitment we have to them and the wider community.

“They have been instrumental in our success and will continue to be so throughout these troubling times and beyond, when normality will inevitably be restored.”

Stoke City FC also announced a similar pledge to its staff over the weekend.
