Italian drinks dispense specialist, Celli Group, has taken a 30% stake in Tamworth-based T&J Installations.

T&J has 95 employees – including 65 technicians, working across seven branches to serve 15,000 customer sites.

The firm serve businesses in the UK’s hospitality sector. The deal means Celli will be able to offer T&J remote maintenance and technical assistance using Internet of Things systems.

Ian Jones, managing director of T&J Installations, said: “We’ve always taken great pride in the quality of our service – it’s the reason why our customers have always supported us.

“We’re excited at the prospect of working together with Celli. We’re both companies with a long history – T&J has been operating for 35 years and Celli was founded 45 years ago – but we’re also both focused on the future.

“Joining forces provides us with the opportunity to grow within the UK market by continuing to embrace new technologies to add to our range of innovative products. Furthermore, our customers will benefit from enhanced levels of service.”

Nigel Farrar, UK managing director of Celli, said: “The Celli Group is a leader in the UK in the design and production of the ‘complete solution’ in drinks dispense equipment. We now find it essential to support our customers with both equipment and technical assistance services.

“T&J Installations, with their reputation for excellence in the market, is the best way for us to develop this part of our offering. This takes place in the middle of a particularly critical period, not only for our country but also for many other countries as well. It is proof of how much Celli Group believes in the future of this market.”
