Occupiers commit to long term leases at nine acre industrial estate

Sandyford Properties has finalised a 15 year lease deal with the second long-term occupier at Newfield Industrial Estate, Grenville Engineering.

This follows the recent agreement of a 10 year lease deal with long-established occupier Air Liquide.

Commercial property investors Sandyford Properties has owned Newfield Industrial Estate in Stoke-on-Trent since 2000. It comprises 131,000sqft of buildings on a 9.2acre site and is home to 20 businesses.

James Lewis of Sandyford Properties said: “We’re delighted to have secured two key customers on the estate on long term deals. Our ability to work closely with our customers has assisted significantly when agreeing lettings and renewals. Newfield is a well-established and strategically located Industrial Estate and the fact that these companies have been there since the 1980s is testament to that.”

Grant Barratt of Grenville Engineering said: “The location of the premises are ideal for serving our core customers, many of which operate in the local area. It’s also in a strong position with regards to transport links allowing us to easily serve customers the length and breadth of the United Kingdom.

“Our premises are ideal for our manufacturing activities and Sandyford’s work in tandem with us, ensuring the site and premises are kept to the highest possible standard.”
