Birmingham lawyers advise on investment in managed services provider

A team of Birmingham lawyers have advised on a deal which has seen Bridgepoint Development Capital (BDC) invest in managed services provider Matrix SCM.

Founded in 2008 and based in Milton Keynes, Matrix is a leading managed service provider for the outsourced hiring and management of temporary local government staff in the UK.

Teams from Squire Patton Boggs advising management included corporate partner Geoff Perry, senior associate Claire O’Connor and associate Indy Bening, all based in Birmingham, and corporate partner Paul Mann, senior associate Louise Parker and associate Joshua Lodge in Leeds.

Also advising management were Mazars Leeds M&A team led by partner Alex Baskeyfield, manager Jon Newton and Arran Smedley

Advising Bridgepoint was DC Advisory (corporate finance), Ropes & Gray (legal), CIL (commercial), BDO (financial & tax).
