Manufacturer signed as first tenant at speculatively built multi-let scheme
A 77,000 sqft speculatively-built multi-let scheme in Birmingham has welcomed its first tenant.
Vinyl mat manufacturer Nicoman has signed up to an 11,000 sq ft warehouse on a 10 year lease at Mucklow Park in Tyseley.
Stuart Haydon of London Metric Mucklow said: “Nicoman are a great tenant and we are delighted they have chosen Mucklow Park as their new home. With the central location, lack of competing stock and high specification including comfort cooled offices,warehouse lighting and over 9m eaves, we are certain further lettings will be announced going forward.”
JLL and Harris Lamb are joint agents on the scheme.
Neil Slade, of Harris Lamb’s agency team, said: “As one of the most exciting new multi-let developments in the region, we are delighted that Nicoman has taken on Unit 2c at the estate.
“Mucklow Park has been carefully planned to make it the optimum site for all industrial sectors and the high specification of the buildings has been key to attracting Nicoman to the estate. We have seen unprecedented demand for the properties with viewings continuing despite the recent uncertainty as a consequence of CV19. We have proposals out to a variety of prospective tenants and hope to welcome further new business to join Nicoman in due course.”
Six units remain on the estate ranging from approximately 5,000sqft to 15,000sqft or a combination to 30,000sqft.
