Workplace wellbeing specialist feels good as growth continues

A specialist in wellbeing in the workplace has reported strong growth as it continues to roll out new services.

Hands On At Work was founded by Worcester businesswoman Kathy Scott in 2010 and over the past decade has expanded from two therapists covering Worcestershire to a network of over 100 therapists delivering treatments in workplaces across the UK.

With increased pressure on employees, the business says it has seen more employers asking them to deliver their workplace wellbeing services to help reduce anxiety, tension, and stress amongst their staff.

The business introduces new services for businesses such as nutrition sessions, mental health and yoga workshops as well as supporting businesses with their wellbeing policies.

The company has also had to overcome challenges over the past four months brought by Covid-19. Diversifying into other areas, it has introduced a series of virtual workshops and been advising on health and wellbeing through video conferencing technology.

Scott said: “Ten years has flown by and to be celebrating that achievement is an incredibly proud moment for not only myself, but the whole of the team.

“To become a trusted wellbeing provider by businesses up and down the country is a massive pat on the back. We have worked hard to be the one that businesses turn to when looking to implement wellbeing strategies and to understand the thinking behind them.

“It has taken a long time, however, health and wellbeing is now seen as an essential part of working life with employees wanting their employers to look after them as much as possible.

“The workplace massages will always be the backbone of what we do, however the new services that we offer have been incredibly successful. Not just visiting businesses to provide workplace massages, but to provide the complete wellbeing service, which includes a range of workshops.”
