Double hire for Warwickshire law firm

Warwickshire law firm, Feldon Dunsmore Solicitors has made a double hire.

Wasim Mohammed, has joined the firm from Gowling WLG having advised various clients on commercial property matters. He has particular expertise in real estate development having acted for national house builders and registered providers on the acquisition of land for residential development in the last few years.

He said: “I am absolutely thrilled to be joining Feldon Dunsmore. The firm operates a dynamic and transparent business model and works with some fantastic clients. The passion of founding partners, Steven and Paul, made my decision to join the firm an easy one. I hope to get stuck in over the coming weeks and months and make a meaningful contribution to the future success of the firm.”

Founding partner, Steven Petty, said “We’re delighted to have added someone of Wasim’s calibre to the business. Sometimes it’s hard for smaller firms to attract the best quality talent. Despite that, we have refused to compromise on the ability of the lawyers we recruit as our clients rightly expect a very high level of service.”

Meanwhile, Harvey Gibbs has joined from another local firm, Brethertons LLP, and has substantial experience of residential property conveyancing and development matters. He has acted for many private and corporate clients in the acquisition and sale of freehold and leasehold properties.

He said: “I am very excited to be joining Feldon Dunsmore. Notwithstanding the difficulties which have arisen from the pandemic it is apparent that the firm and its clients are going from strength to strength. I am looking forward to working with the team and to meeting clients new and old.

Founding partner, Paul Harrison, said: “Harvey is a very welcome addition to the firm at a time when we continue to experience an increased level of new instructions and we see this as an opportunity to cement our reputation in this area.”
