Kate Spade and Peloton join line-up at Birmingham’s Bullring

Birmingham’s Bullring has added Kate Spade New York and Peloton to its line-up.

Luxury accessories brand Kate Spade has opened a 1,500 sq ft store at the shopping centre adjacent to Selfridges.

The shop is one of only a handful of standalone  Kate Spade stores in the UK and sells the brand’s range of handbags, shoes, jewellery, homewares, and clothing.

Meanwhile, interactive fitness platform Peloton will be opening its first West Midlands showroom at the centre later this month. Spanning 1,700 sq ft, the space will be situated  on the upper level, close to Zara, and will give shoppers the chance to experience the Peloton Bike and the brand’s live and on-demand classes.

Birmingham’s Bullring and Grand Central was identified as a key location for the brand outside of London as part of its UK expansion plans.

Iain Mitchell, UK commercial director at Hammerson, said: ”Today’s announcement really highlights the continued popularity of destinations like Bullring & Grand Central, to both brands and customers.  While the retail sector is undoubtedly challenging at the moment, it’s clear that the strongest locations remain in demand, and that brands with a unique offer, like Kate Spade and Peloton, can still succeed.”
