Calthorpe Estates bolsters senior team
One of the UK’s oldest family-owned city estates has strengthened its senior team.
As part of plans to drive forward the multimillion-pound investment and development portfolio of Edgbaston, Calthorpe Estates has appointed David Wooldridge as finance director, and Drew Dulson as head of finance and reporting.
The new structure marks yet another milestone for Calthorpe Estates following the appointment of Haydn Cooper as chief executive earlier this year.
Wooldridge’s appointment comes after spending five months with the business as interim finance director.
He brings 24 years of experience to the position, and previously held the positions of finance director and company secretary at A&J Mucklow Group, where he worked for 23 years.
As part of his promotion to head of finance and reporting, Drew Dulson, who has been at Calthorpe Estates for over three years, will now oversee the financial performance of the business.
Wooldridge said: “I’m delighted to have been appointed as Finance Director at Calthorpe Estates, and am looking forward to furthering the growth of the business as it continues to expand its already impressive property and development portfolio across the Edgbaston Estate.
“I’ve spent the last few months immersing myself in the team’s exciting plans for future of the Estate and am thrilled to be involved in bringing these visions to life, whilst continuing to enhance the profitability of the business.”
Cooper added: “This year has brought unprecedented changes for everyone, whether that be adapting to working remotely, or overcoming new challenges across both the development and business landscape. David has been a real support to the team over the past few months, which is why we are delighted he accepted a permanent position with Calthorpe Estates.
