Worcestershire estate agency Nicol & Co has made a strong start to 2021 after moving into new offices in Malvern which has created five jobs.

The company bought the freehold to the former Court Road Bakery on Court Road, Barnards Green, and has redeveloped the property into modern offices for sales, lettings and new homes activity in the area.

This has now become Nicol & Co’s third base in the county.

The team based in the office includes sales manager Erica Hinwood, sales consultant Charlotte Rowe and client relationship specialist Hannah Sheppard, with another two staff currently being recruited.

Matt Nicol, managing director of Nicol & Co, said: “We’re thrilled to have finally moved into our new offices in the lovely town of Malvern.

“It was always my intention to open three offices in key locations in Worcestershire, and Malvern is now the final piece in the jigsaw that adds to our branch network in Droitwich and Worcester.

“The new Malvern office has been almost two years in the making from when we first spotted the premises, and there were lots of challenges along the way, but we remained optimistic and excited about the opportunity.

“This expansion has created five new jobs in total, including our new sales manager Erica Hinwood who has made a great start since joining us as we came out of lockdown in May.

“Nicol & Co brings energy and enthusiasm to every market it operates in and now, with over 40 employees, the company is well placed to serve the whole of Worcestershire.”

Nicol & Co was advised by GJS Dillon & Thursfields Solicitors on its purchase.
