Midlands-based Spitfire Bespoke Homes is set to build 38 homes in the historic Worcestershire village of Eckington, after sealing a deal with a local landowner.

With work set to commence this Spring, the development covers two plots both adjacent to the Pershore Road in Eckington and is a first for Spitfire in this part of the county.

Spitfire is the housebuilding division of real estate giant IM Properties. Recent developments in the Midlands include Highworth – a bespoke collection of 124 properties, with 74 detached, semi-detached and terraced houses alongside a mix of apartments and bungalows in Broadway, a village known as the “Jewel of the Cotswolds”.

The firm also recently completed the purchase of a former residential care home site in Birmingham’s leafy Edgbaston suburbs, where it will deliver a further 43 new homes.

Ben Leather, managing director at Spitfire, said: “At Spitfire we pride ourselves on creating high-quality homes in distinct, desirable locations, full of character that people are proud to call home. This latest collection of properties in Eckington will allow us to demonstrate that ongoing commitment and showcase our ability to blend traditional, picturesque destinations with high-spec modern living.”
