Former Transport Minister named as chairman of EV supplier
Evtec Automotive, an electric vehicle automotive supply specialist and member of the Auto Innovation Group, has appointed Steve Norris as chairman.
Norris, a former UK Minister for Transport, has been a board member of many public and privately held companies and has a 50-year association with the UK automotive industry.
Evtec Automotive is a key part of the Auto Innovation Group which has been formed to create long-term investments in the UK automotive industry. A large part of its portfolio focuses on advanced technologies for electrified vehicles and businesses with strong ESG – environmental, social and governance – credentials.

Evtec Automotive, based in Coventry, counts Jaguar Land Rover and other major car manufacturers amongst its customer base as a Tier One supplier in the EV sector.
