Home emergency specialist acquired in multimillion-pound deal

Home emergency specialist Nationwide Property Assistance (NPA) has been acquired by a professional services and technology business.

Birmingham-based NPA provides claims management and command centre solutions to housebuilders, housing associations and insurance companies.

Its acquisition by Davies will see it form part of the company’s existing claims solutions business in the UK, adding 24/7 home emergency assistance service to its range of end-to-end claims solutions.

NPA CEO Nick Haycock will continue to lead the business and will report to Davies’ managing director Russell Crewe.

All 190 NPA staff will continue in their roles as Davies employees.

Solihull-based Jerroms Corporate Finance advised NPA.

Paul Heaven, MD, Jerroms Corporate Finance, said: “We are delighted to have acted for NPA on their sale to Davies. NPA has a solid proven track record in providing outstanding service to its customers and we are proud to have supported them through a key time in their history. It has been a privilege to advise and provide support on their journey and I wish them all the very best for the future.”

Legal advice to the NPA management team was provided by The Wilkes Partnership.

Jeremy Parkin, partner in the corporate team at The Wilkes Partnership, said: “The Wilkes corporate team and I are delighted to have been able to support and advise Nick through this journey.

“He has been able to secure a strong future for the business the NPA24:7 team has worked hard to grow since taking it over from Homeserve. The Davies team has welcomed team NPA24:7 into the family and are keen to develop the new service for their clients.”
