London Electric Vehicle Company signs for 170,000 sq ft Coventry hub

London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC), the manufacturer and retailer of electric commercial vehicles, has signed up to premises at Prologis Park Ryton in Coventry.

The manufacturer, famous for its black London taxi cabs, has taken a 170,000 sq ft facility on the park and will use the facility as a central logistics hub.

LEVC has sold over 4,500 TX electric taxis since 2018, preventing 36,000 tonnes of C02 from entering the atmosphere and saving more than 21 million litres of fuel from being used.

Prologis said: “Prologis Park Ryton is the perfect location for LEVC as it’s already home to the special vehicle operations and classic works facilities of Jaguar Land Rover – another famous Coventry-based automotive brand.”
