Trio of mansions let in a week on prestigious Birmingham estate

A Birmingham estate and letting agency has let a trio of mansions in one week.

Davidson Estates successfully introduced new tenants to neighbouring properties on Frederick Road and a third on Richmond Hill Road, all on the Calthorpe Estate in Edgbaston.

Ben Davidson, director of Davidson Estates, said: “This activity saw us achieve one of our best-ever weeks in lettings, resulting in total rents of nearly £7,500 a month for clients.

“Even though we are currently in the third national lockdown, we are experiencing a real emergence of interest in high quality properties to rent, possibly due in part to families relocating from London.

“We operate with an initial viewing via remote Gavl online video technology, and then with the most stringent health and safety protocols for in-person viewings, always making sure that all staff and customers are protected.”

The double-fronted properties on Frederick Road are both Grade II-listed Georgian mansions, each with six bedrooms, various period features and landscaped gardens.

They were let for £2,000 and £2,500 per month respectively.

The detached property on Richmond Road has seven bedrooms, three bathrooms and a rear garden, and was let for £2,950 per month.
