Care home developer Macc Care Group has acquired a new site in Solihull, which will be commissioned next January.

Macc Care Group, founded by doctors Naz Nathani and Sanjay Aggarwal, works with local authorities in bespoke developments addressing local needs and has various sites in development.

This new site in Solihull will be commissioned in January 2022.

Bhavesh Amlani, national head of real estate, and Emily Danson, real estate partner at law firm Roythornes, acquired the site on behalf of Macc Care Group.

Mike Matthews, a partner in Roythornes’ corporate team led on the corporate aspects of the transaction.

“Macc is an impressive organisation with industry leading development capabilities and an ambitious expansion plan. The recent Solihull acquisition was complex and not without its challenges, which meant that a practical and pragmatic approach adopted by the team in light of the timescales helped enormously with a smooth deal process,” said Amlani.

Macc is also looking to acquire other sites in the Midlands, which Roythornes is dealing with.

Macc has recently starteddevelopment on another existing site in Solihull, which will see the delivery of 80 care home units, 12 assisted living units and a further 47 residential units.

Macc also focuses on retirement/assisted living as a close care model.

Roythornes also advises on plot sales for the development arm of the Macc Care Group called Macc Living – another growing element to their business.
