Adventure golf attraction swings in to Birmingham’s Bullring

A mini golf experience is set to tee off this spring in the heart of Birmingham’s Bullring and Grand Central.

Joining a host of other locations across the UK, the newest Treetop Adventure Golf site is on course to reveal its rainforest attraction on May to coincide with the post-lockdown return of the leisure and hospitality sector.

Situated on the southern side of the Bullring shopping centre, the former Forever 21 unit is undergoing a £2.4m refurbishment to transform it into an immersive mini golf experience.

With two indoor 18-hole courses to explore, guests can choose to tackle the Tropical Trail’s Mystic Wood or the ruins of the Ancient Explorer, alongside a Bonus 19th hole that gives players the chance to win a free round should they score a hole in one.

CEO and co-founder of Treetop Adventure Golf, Elizabeth Stanway, said: “We can’t wait to bring our mini golf experience to life within the depths of the Bullring shopping centre. After a tough year for everyone, we’re counting down the days until we can tee off and open our doors to the public this spring.

“Our jungle will be open seven days a week, for everything from family days out to student hangouts, date nights, work get-togethers and celebrations. Birmingham has always been a landmark location and we’re so excited to be launching in the heart of the city centre and look forward to seeing guests making treasured memories together.”

As well as boosting employment in the city centre with the creation of 25 jobs, the team are set to work with several local suppliers including Quarter Horse Coffee, The Brutally Honest Bakery and Birmingham Brewing Company.
