Housebuilder Bellway has finished construction at its Cherry Orchard development in Bevere near Worcester, where all the homes have now been sold.
In total, 128 homes have been delivered at the site off Ombersley Road, with Bellway providing 77 homes for private sale and 51 affordable homes for local people through rent or fixed equity.
The completion of work on the site marks the end of a four-year construction programme, with work having started on the two, three, four and five-bedroom homes in 2017.
Marie Richards, sales director of Bellway West Midlands, said: “We are pleased to say that all homes have now sold at Cherry Orchard, where a new community is already becoming well established.
“This development is the second we’ve completed in Bevere in recent years, following on from Cherry Tree Park which neighbours the site.
“The site’s popularity has partly been due to its proximity to both the Malvern Hills and Worcester city centre. People can either get out into the nearby countryside or take advantage of all the city’s shops, leisure activities and job opportunities – and the fact they can enjoy the best of both worlds has appealed to buyers of all ages.
“Countryside locations continue to attract buyers looking for a more rural way of life, especially since lockdown, and we’re continuing to meet that demand at other developments in the region.”
