Events software provider set for US expansion

Events software provider VenuIQ has expanded into the United States following an increase in demand for its virtual and hybrid event platform.

The Walsall-based business has appointed a new head of US sales, John D’Adamo, who will be responsible for establishing VenuIQ’s American division.

Based in Florida, his appointment marks a pivotal moment in VenuIQ’s growth, with plans to hire further representatives across the USA in the next 12 months.

He said: “The US events industry is slowly making a comeback following the pandemic, with many companies looking to incorporate a virtual element into their events to accommodate as many attendees as possible.

“I have admired VenuIQ’s work from afar for some time, so the opportunity to bring my passion to the company in this next phase of growth was something I couldn’t pass up.

“I’m honored to join this world class team and look forward to helping bring new sales, marketing, thought leadership initiatives, and other opportunities to VenuIQ.”

Oliver Rowe, co-founder of VenuIQ, said: “We feel this is the right time to further expand our reach overseas already having some of our team in India and France, and have local representatives on the ground to support our rapidly growing US customer-base is a key focus.

“With John’s wealth of experience building best-in-class relationships all over the US and the world, we are confident he’ll grow our sales operations thoughtfully and strategically as we move into the US.

“We are excited to have him join our team at this crucial moment in our expansion and to see him make his debut for VenuIQ as a speaker at Event Tech Live in June, and our upcoming EventIQ by VenuIQ podcast series.”

VenuIQ has hosted a variety of conferences, forums and business events across the globe, including Founders Forums’ events in US, Germany and Italy. The platform has also recently expanded into Europe, appointing a new representative based in Paris.
