Industry veteran serves up hospitality management company

A hospitality management company which aims to help businesses emerge profitably and successfully from the pandemic has been launched by an industry veteran.

Mark Butler’s Hospitality Options, based in Solihull, provides management services that are tailored to the client’s specific requirements in a sector that is facing enormous challenges in recovering from the impact of Covid.

The HO team has experience on all operational and financial matters, including financial restructuring, and has access to a variety of people who can help support existing owners.

As well as supporting businesses, HO is looking to work with both private and corporate investors in the leisure sector to help turnaround underperforming assets.

Butler, who has been involved in the sector for more than 30 years, has formed Hospitality Options with Tony Sanders and Trevor Foster.

Prior to launching the venture, Butler ran his own estate of pubs and hotels. He has raised and invested £70m to acquire freehold pubs through private equity and EIS/CGT schemes.

Butler has also managed in excess of 300 cases in administration for major blue chip companies.

Sanders has managed, owned and operated more than 250 licensed premises while Foster is a business leader with a senior background in banking and professional services.

Hospitality Options also specialises in providing health check reports, that can be used to support requests for bank funding and to ease creditor and investor concerns.
