New senior surveyor parks up at Harris Lamb

John Behan

Harris Lamb has expanded its property management team with the appointment of senior surveyor John Behan.

Behan joins the business’ Birmingham office from National Car Parks, where he was a regional surveyor for the South East, with full responsibility for asset management, acquisition of new leases and management agreements for new sites, and commercial rental valuations for car park properties across the area.

Prior to NCP, John Behan several years with Workman, at both the Birmingham and Swindon offices, gaining extensive property management experience across the commercial sector.

Shirley Greenlees, director at Harris Lamb, said: “We are delighted to announce the continued development of our team as we begin to emerge from what has been a tumultuous year. It has been an extremely busy year supporting our clients through unusual circumstances and we look forward to continuing to deliver the same high level of service that we know will strengthen relationships further with our clients.

“John brings more than 15 years’ property management experience within our key sectors and is a welcome asset to our team, where he will provide vital support on a number of national accounts.”

Behan said: “Having amassed over a decade’s worth of property management experience I was keen to become part of a strong team with a diverse portfolio and jumped at the opportunity to work for one of the Midlands’ most established property consultancies.

“As well as having successfully continued to grow its business throughout the Pandemic, Harris Lamb has a great reputation for providing excellent service and for investing in its people and its community, and I am excited to become part of that.”
