Green light for 150 serviced apartments at former Snobs nightclub

Beneficial House

Plans to turn the former Snobs nightclub into 154 serviced apartments and a ground floor gym have been passed by Birmingham City Council’s planning committee.

Developer CoLico has finally got the green light to redevelop the building, known as Beneficial House, after earlier plans for 180 flats had been knocked back.

Beneficial House had an existing planning consent for a hotel, but with the onset of COVID-19 prominent hotelier Premier Inn pulled out from the project, leaving the site derelict.

The office building has been vacant for more than eight years.
