People: Law firm makes partner promotion; New hires aid recruitment specialist’s expansion

Law firm Bowcock and Pursaill has welcomed Joy Hancock as partner to the firm.

Hancock first joined Bowcock & Pursaill as an associate solicitor in 2018.

Based at its Uttoxeter office, she has a wealth of experience within the commercial property sector.

She said: “I’m incredibly proud to be recently appointed partner at Bowcock & Pursaill and to represent such a highly reputable legal firm. The team here are so friendly and approachable, while always maintaining a high degree of professionalism.”

Growing Birmingham accountancy recruitment specialist Sheridan Maine has further expanded its business with two key hires to manage a boom in vacancies across the region.

Laura Barron and Lauren Thorp joined the Hagley Road business, part of the Pertemps Network Group, this month.

Barron will focus on the recruitment of credit control experts, while Thorp will head up the firm’s temporary, interim and contract division.
