Birmingham legal team oversees major dairy merger

DWF has advised Medina Dairy on its merger with Freshways Dairy, the largest independent family-run dairy product supplier in the UK.

The merger, which is subject to regulatory approval, will establish a progressive dairy business with turnover of around £400m.

The new business will employ 1,000 staff.

The DWF team advising Medina was led by Mark Gibson (partner and head of corporate at DWF in Birmingham), alongside Dimitris Sinaniotis (director).

A team from Michelmores advised Freshways Dairy on all legal and regulatory aspects of the merger.
