Japanese restaurant open for business

A Japanese restaurant has opened for business in Redditch.

Edo Japan has taken 5,068 sq ft on a 20 year lease at 4B The Quadrant on a rental of £30,000 a year.

John Truslove acted for landlords Real Estate Investors (REI).

Jack Sears, asset manager at REI, said: “We are always pleased to be able to support start-up businesses and delighted they have opened Redditch’s first Japanese restaurant in one or our properties.

“It is encouraging to see the retail and food sector starting to pick back up after a torrid 2020. We looking forward to continuing to develop our relationships with existing and new clients throughout 2021.”

Dongehun Wang, director of Zensho, said: “We are delighted with the reception we have received from our customers and very pleased with the support from Ben Truslove and the team at John Truslove who helped us at every stage of the way towards opening our new restaurant.”
