‘Prime’ commercial development plot hits the market

An opportunity to purchase a “prime” commercial development plot in Hinckley is now available.

A 0.74 acre plot with planning consent for 5,382 sq ft of convenience retail is being marketed by property consultancy Fisher German.

The site, based off Normandy Way, is located within a new housing development by Bloor Homes known as Hollycroft Grange which, once completed, will comprise 850 homes and primary school.

The plot also benefits from a high volume of passing traffic, with around 27,000 cars passing every day.

Best offers for the site are being sought by September 22 at 5pm.

“As a result, we have already received a number of enquiries and expect even more demand from occupiers and developers in the coming weeks.

“The convenience market is one that has performed well throughout the pandemic, demonstrating its strength and resilience as the demand for convenience retail consumers increases, and we continue to see more and more local stores opening.

“Hinckley is a sought-after market town and this is a prime location, not only within a new large-scale housing development but also close to the busy A47 which benefits from high levels of traffic.
