People: Construction consultancy expands again; RSM recruits record number of trainees; and more

Hot on the heels of a new senior quantity surveyor joining the team, Feasibility has now welcomed an additional project manager, Kila Prince.

The West Midlands construction consultancy is enjoying a period of growth after new business wins and new appointments from existing clients.

Prince boasts a decade of experience in the UK hospitality development sector, project managing the delivery of new build hotels and restaurants, one of a number of areas where Feasibility is keen to continue growing the business.

Feasibility director Seb Rose said: “A huge welcome to Kila, who brings her skills and experience to our growing team, ensuring we can continue to offer the best-in-class consultancy services our clients are used to, as well as taking on new business and delivering accordingly. It’s an exciting time at Feasibility and I’m delighted to see our new recruits getting stuck in at every opportunity.”

RSM UK has strengthened its plans for long-term growth in the West Midlands by recruiting a record number of trainees.

The audit, tax and consulting firm has recruited 42 new recruits in Birmingham, which includes 28 graduates and 10 school leavers, a 68% increase on last year’s total trainee intake.

Mark Taylor, regional managing partner for RSM West Midlands said: “The jobs market is extremely competitive for young people, and this has only been exacerbated by the pandemic. I am glad we are able to offer a first step on the career ladder to so many bright, intelligent and hardworking individuals both here in Birmingham and across the country at what is an exceptionally challenging time.

“While the past year and a half has been difficult for everyone we have continued to invest and our business grew through the pandemic. We offer equality of opportunity to start and grow a career at RSM. We have expanded our graduate and in particular our school leaver intake to broaden our pool of talent including working with social mobility charity Leadership Through Sport & Business to recruit talented, ambitious young people at the start of their career journey. Supporting them to become our future leaders forms a major part of our long-term strategy.”
