US firm creates 150 jobs with opening of manufacturing facility

A US-based printing specialist has created 150 jobs with the launch of a manufacturing facility in Wolverhampton.

Abrdn has let Antar 2 to Printful, sealing a 10 year lease for the 88,377 sq ft unit.

Located three miles to the north of Wolverhampton city centre, the self-contained industrial unit provides manufacturing space plus a single storey office facility.

The surrounding area is an established production and distribution location with major occupiers including Jaguar Land Rover, Kuehne + Nagel and Atlas Copco.

Abrdn was represented jointly by Savills and MWRE.

Hugh Walton, industrial agency surveyor at Savills, said: “The letting of Antar 2 to Printful brings another high profile industrial occupier to the area, enhancing the already strong tenant mix and bringing further jobs to the local community.

“The strength of the logistics market in the Black Country continues to grow and we expect to see further activity in the region throughout the remainder of this year and into next.”
