Business support provider expands footprint

Worcestershire business support provider BizSmart has expanded into Gloucestershire with the launch of its first franchise.

Established in 2012, BizSmart brings business leaders together via peer-to-peer learning and says it has helped hundreds of businesses across the Midlands to scale up, grow their profits and improve their operating practices.

Founder and managing director Kevin Brent launched the BizSmart franchise model in 2020.

The new BizSmart Gloucestershire franchise will be led by Granger Forson who has worked with small, medium and large businesses for more than 25 years.

Brent said: “Given the unprecedented times businesses have faced over the last 18 months, now is the ideal time to expand BizSmart’s support across the UK to help more businesses than ever overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

“The launch of BizSmart Gloucestershire would not have been possible without the support of Worcestershire County Council and their Here 2 Help Business grant which helped us with funding to develop our franchise infrastructure. I would also like to thank Ashton’s Franchising and Ashtons Legal for their advice and Franchise Focus and AB Commercial for their support.
