IT firm makes move to new Midlands hub

The Birmingham and Coventry branches of Air IT have moved to new offices at Birmingham Business Park on Solihull Parkway, which will become the West Midlands hub for the IT managed service provider.
The move, which was supported by Birmingham-based property agents KWB, sees both teams getting a significant upgrade in their office space.
With a modern fit-out and open-plan design, the new offices take up 2,800 sq ft at 6260 Bishops Court on Birmingham Business Park.
Andrew Penlington, regional director of Air IT Birmingham, said: “Bishops Court is just right for us, our clients and our new Coventry colleagues – the space lends itself perfectly to collaboration, which will help us combine the skills and expertise of both teams for the benefit of our clients.”
Just over a year ago, before they joined the Air IT Group, the Birmingham and Coventry teams were two separate businesses known as Microtrading and Nexus GS respectively.
Justin Huckfield, regional director of Air IT Coventry, said: “It’s been a year since we joined the Air IT Group and within that time, we’ve successfully integrated, rebranded and now moved to a new location which puts us in an ideal position for visiting clients all over the West Midlands and allows us to work as one team.
“Whilst it’s unfortunate that the move falls on the week that we have to start working from home again, everyone is really looking forward to seeing the new premises and working alongside our Birmingham colleagues. Our new building better reflects our status as a leading MSP whilst allowing us room to grow.”
