Legal and professional services firm Knights continues its recruitment drive as it appoints five partners and a senior associate in recent weeks across its number of offices.

James Maynard and Gareth John join as partners in the Midlands. Maynard has supported a range of businesses from owner-managed to public companies, whilst John joins Knights from another Top 50 law firm, has more than 30 years of experience delivering support to corporate and M&A advisory to both international and UK companies.

Rebecca Moore, with expertise in the retail and consumer sector, is now a partner in Knights’ Manchester office.

Ben Denton joins as a partner in Knights’ Oxford office, to strengthen its construction team. Knights says Denton has spent the last 18 months working in-house at an internationally renowned University, specialising in large scale construction projects.

In the South-West, Julia Suarez joins as a partner and will focus on property transactions for high net-worth clients, and following the launch of its tax advisory offering last year, Eve Williams joins the team as a Senior Associate, specialising in the tax implications of property transactions.

Knights says the recruitment drive is to strengthen and deepen its expertise across its core services areas in order to reach its growth ambitions.

Tim Bates, the recruitment director for Knights, said: “We continue to make good progress in becoming the leading legal and professional services business outside London and have a strong recruitment pipeline of quality talent who are attracted by our unique, collaborative culture and risk-free corporate model.”
