Independent café to add a new site at Paradise

Two Chamberlain Square

An independent Birmingham café group is set to add another site at the Paradise development.

Yorks will open in the spring on the ground floor of Two Chamberlain Square. The 2,900 sq ft café will add to Yorks’ other eateries on Stephenson Street and Brindleyplace and in Stratford-upon-Avon and Leamington Spa.

As well as its day-time menu, Yorks will be offering an evening menu, serving pizzas, small plates, locally brewed beers and cocktails.

Founder and owner Simon Ford said: “This is a major step for Yorks and we can’t wait to bring our Birmingham roasted coffee and all-day-dining food menus to the millions of people who walk through Paradise every year.

“As a company born and bred in Birmingham, it’s exciting to be coming home to the heart of the city as part of the region’s finest development project and to be part of this entirely new corner of the city.”

The £700m Paradise development already features Rosa’s Thai Cafe, Dishoom and Albert Schloss with wine bar and restaurant Vinoteca due to open in the spring.
