Translation provider sees surge in sales through demand for remote interpreting

A translation and language services provider has seen turnover increase by 24% to £7.2m following a rise in demand in service users to support international businesses growth.

The Translation People, based in Birmingham has welcomed 631 new clients in the last year, accounting for 65% growth across the growth. These customers include specialists in the pharmaceuticals, e-learning, financial and automotive sectors.

With offices in Manchester, Glasgow, London and Tunbridge Wells, as well as in Germany, France and the US, the group says its success is due to the breadth of its service portfolio, allowing it to respond to a greater number of clients producing or managing multilingual content.

Customers are using its services to promote brands overseas and support multilingual workforces through The Translation People’s video translation processes and e-learning portfolio.

Recently the company has launched an AI-based transcription service and real-time captioning.

The Translation People is aiming to double its revenues by 2025 through acquisitions and consistent organic growth.
