Law firm announces new Birmingham offices

Law firm Roythornes Solicitors has announced new premises for its Birmingham office and two new senior hires for its real estate team.

In its fourth move in the city since opening the office in February 2020 due to consistent growth, Roythornes will relocate from its current office to 1 Newhall Street in the spring.

The firm also welcomes two new faces to its growing real estate team. Abdul Zaheed, who has more than 18 years of experience as a qualified real estate solicitor, has been appointed as a partner and Charlotte Nutting joins the team as a senior associate after working at two large regional firms in Shropshire.

Zaheed said: “I was impressed with the firm’s substantial growth and Roythornes’ commitment to its real estate practice and Birmingham. I have always been passionate about providing exceptional service to clients and adding real value to their goals so I’m looking forward to establishing and growing this at Roythornes.”

Nutting said: “I hope to play an active part in Roythornes’ expansion and especially in the real estate sector in the Birmingham legal market. With the high quality of work that is on offer at the firm and the calibre of clients it attracts, I hope to expand my technical knowledge and become a leader in the field through a long and successful career.”

Bhavesh Amlani, partner and national head of real estate at Roythornes, added: “We’ve seen the real estate team go from strength to strength and our focus is to continue to build our reputation and brand as we embark on our ambitious expansion plans.

“We’re proud to act for many of the country’s largest housebuilders as well as landowners, property owners, developers, registered providers and tenants. We’re incredibly excited to welcome Abdul and Charlotte to the team, with their vast knowledge and experience in the sector.”
