EY to treble its consultancy presence in Birmingham

EY has announced significant growth plans for its UK consultancy business, with plans to treble its headcount in Birmingham over the next four years from 160 to more than 500 people.

£95m has already been invested since 2020 in its UK and Ireland consultancy practice. Across the UK, EY plans to double its practice by 2026 to 10,200 people.

A further £75m is planned to be invested in the next year to expand operations and focus on adding tech-enabled solutions.

The new recruits are to keep up with the increasing demand from clients and will boost skills in areas such as SAP, Microsoft, ServiceNow, Cloud, Data Analytics, and Cyber.
